CBMC Lincoln will hold its June Business Connection on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. Doors open at 11:20 am, lunch service starts at 11:50. The Guest Speaker is Ron Brown.
A veteran college coach, Ron has a long association with Husker football, beginning as an assistant coach in 1987 and currently serving as the fullbacks and returners coach. He has spent decades investing in the lives of young men through coaching, mentorship, community engagement and ministry.
Ron is a co-founder of Kingdom Sports along with Gordon Thiessen. The vision of Kingdom Sports is to use sports to help athletes and coaches see their need for King Jesus and serve Him within His Kingdom.
Ron also hosts the “Alive and Active,” Christian radio program and podcast along with Mike Bliss. This program focuses on biblical principles for men and daily life applications.
Ron and his wife Molvina live in Lincoln and are the proud parents of their two daughters, Sojourner and Bronwyn.
