In today’s church\, we often embrace Jesus as Savior while overlooking Him as Lord. This retreat is about rediscovering a right view of reverence and awe\, not fear as terror\, but the fear of the Lord that moves us to surrender. When we yield fully to Him\, we find the contentment and peace our hearts have been searching for. True freedom is not found in striving\, but in trusting the One who reigns over all. As Proverbs 1:7 says\, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge\,” and it is the first step toward a surrendered and content life.
